A Portal To Another World Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A Portal To Another World

This cache is smaller than a 35mm
canister, but not quite a nano. Located at a Portal to Another world.
When at ground zero you will see the portal. We thought due to the
size of the cache its difficulty was a 3, however those familar
with the sport should not have too much touble locating the cahce.
It is different, so you're prewarned.

We thought this green belt need
some more caches. What a great place for geocaching, so we took
carissa8318 lead and put a few more caches down here.

This "portal" or "cave" is a fun tunnel to run through. If you have
a flashlight you can explore the portal. It will take you through
to another demension if you can keep your sanity. It's really fun
with little kids. We took our 6 and 4 year old through with our 2yr
old strapped to my back. It was a blast.

It's a pretty clean culvert but I would not try when it's raining
as water flows through here. You should park at these coordinates. N35 38.509 W120 40.002. At the parking coords. there is a faint trail on this empty lot which will take you down to a well defined trail. Woody's woods will be close by, followed by Pass of the Oaks, and finally a Portal to Another World. You can park closer but you would have to do some serious bush wacking and navigate some steep sticker infested hills to get to it. The parking coords. will take you to a fairly level trail that is mostly shaded by oaks, a little more walking but a whole lot easier than the alternative. Bring your own pen.
