The "Hub" The new home for the Expanded Art Museum alongside a new intercity bus terminal and information centre.
The $1.4 million Whangarei District Council project also includes a retail area, internet connections for public use, a cafe and high quality restrooms.
There are two galleries for exhibitions and a storage area for the museum's collection.
I was involved in this project from it's beginning to the end , my handy work is in the ceiling/ roof area/switchboard and a little bit under the floor.
The info center is well worth a look with beautiful photos and visitor information.
Cache is log only, placed in a spot where you can retrieve without too many muggle eyes on you.
