Geocache Description:

Salamanisku Haukiluomassa
Thunderstruck in Haukiluoma

paloivat kokonaan. Isommat puut mustuivat juuresta, mutta jäivät henkiin. Kätköpaikalla voit seurata, kuinka luonto vuosien mittaan korjaa haavansa kuntoon.

Saavutettavuus talvella riippuu lumen paksuudesta. Vähälumisena talvena kätkön voi löytää ympäri vuoden.

In August 2010 there was a thunderstorm in Haukiluoma, and a lightning struck near this cache. I was walking my dog the next day, and there was a heavy smell of burning terrain there. Days went by and smell disappeared but the scars remain. By finding this cache you can see how mother nature heals her wounds as years go by.

Availability during winter depends on the snow depth.
