This is my 8 year old son's geocache that he wanted to place. Pretty tricky if I do say so myself.
You do NOT need to go on private property and you do NOT need to open the gate. You can only access the cache from the outside of the fence (on the west side of the appliance store and on the west side of the fence).
Since I heard the coordinates may be off a bit I'm including another hint below.
This is the Hiltycache family's favorite area of W. Salem...the walking/biking/running trail of the Edgewater District.
*High, high muggle area.
*There are several homeless folks that walk these trails as well.
*Please be sure and close the container so that it stays attached.
