Geocache Description:

When iron was discovered to be in abundance in Oswego two mines
were open. The Prosser Mine was up on Iron Mountain.

The Prosser Mine was a drift mine with horizontal tunnels. This mine
penetrated the to a depth of 800 feet. By 1893 the Posser Mine had
four tunnels that branched off into network rooms.

Park at George Rogers Park and cross the bridge to access trails. Cords can really bounce here, I mean really bouncy. In fact the GPS maybe useless sometimes. Pay attention to these clues. Westward done the trail. Pass under the arch. Think south side. Rocks, lone standing tree, one fallen, climb up just a little
