Christopher Pike: Based on personal reports, along with the previous logs and comments, it appears this cache is or was buried when it was placed.

As much as such a cache might seem unique or a neat idea on the surface, the rule came about because of serious concerns about burying caches from landowners and land managers, and it is one of the rules for which exceptions are not made.
