Geocache Description:

RAF Buchan is a small Royal Airforce station located South of Peterhead. It was first established in 1952 The site iteslf is located near Stirlinghill and part of it can be seen from the A90 as there is a large white dome (golf ball). This housed several radar systems. Its staff had several living quarters in the area one of them being Pusey Place in Peterhead. In November 2004 the manned operations on the site stopped and the domestic dwellings were sold in 2005.

This cache is a very small white plastic tube located on Pusey Place, Peterhead. The cache contains a small log only. Please bring along a pen or pencil for this one.

Due to its urban location it is a cash and dash and it will not offer any swaps.
