Blairlogie is situated at the base of Dumyat (418m) between Stirling and Menstrie. It was one of central Scotland's earliest Conservation villages. Blairlogie mainly comprises 17th-19th-century cottages.
The cache is on a footpath that runs from the village to Menstrie and gives access to the hills above.
In the early part of the 19th Century the village gained a reputation as a health resort. The oldest building is 'The Blair' formally known as Blairlogie Castle, a private residence built in the 16th Century for a Stirling Merchant, Alexander Spittal.
There is not much parking in the village so it is better to approach from the carpark off the A91 further towards Menstrie and walk along the footpath.
Walk along the path until you get to a metal kissing gate just before the village. The cache is approx 20m before this gate on the fence line.
