This geocache is located along the Dog hide trails. Come view what our trails have to offer, they are open most of the year unless the snow gets too deep, or the spring runoff gets too high. Geocache is LOW to the ground. This Geocache might get you mosquito bitten,especially in the evening or after a rain. But the wild ROSES will be adorable during seasonal blooming.
This monument was built in 1996 in memory of a young girl who went missing in the Barrier Valley back in the summer of 1994.
I remember it well. There were a lot of people who came from all over this great province to assist in the search.Take a moment to sit and read the plaque and enjoy the quiet of the creek right beside this place. You might see a beaver or muskrat swim past while you are their.
