Geocache Description:

Peruskätkö Parikkalan patsaspuistolla. Auton voi jättää Imatralta tullessa tien oikealla puolella olevalle levähdysalueelle, jonne myös tien varressa olevat kyltit opastavat. Parkkipaikalta lyhyt kävely itse puistoon. ---------- Basic cache in Parikkala's statuepark. Signs guide you to the parking area from where it's a short walk to the park.

Parikkalan patsaspuisto on paikkakuntalaisen Veijo Rönkkösen elämäntyö. ---------- Parikkala's statuepark was Veijo Rönkkönen's work for a lifetime. He built the first statue in 1961 and the last ones are from year 2010 when he died. There is a voluntary entrance fee to the park. There are no gates to the area so the park and the cache are available 24/7.
