F&S Point Cache Traditional Cache

Small plastic first aid kit (green) on a scenic point. Keep in mind you will at times be 160 feet above the sea with nothing between you and the ocean but air!!
PLEASE BE CAREFULL WHEN OUT ON THIS TRAIL!!!
This is an amazing vista in an out of the way location relative to Avalon. The only sensable way to it is to follow the road beyond the Edison plant and sewage treatment plant(usually quite fragrant). Wind back up and around till you see the new cell tower cleverly disguised as a eucalyptus tree where the trail head is. At this point the trail is somewhat tricky and about 160 feet above the ocean. I would recomend wearing good hiking shoes as you don't want to lose traction up here. The trail is short and comes to an abrupt end, you'll know when you get there. I have given this cache a terrain rating of 4 due to the height above the ocean not necessarily the difficulty of the trail. PLEASE KEEP CHILDREN WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES!!!
