Geocache Description:


Benny "Numbers" Decepsiona was the bookkeeper for a powerful figure in organized crime, Anthony "Fat Tony" Baloni, who controlled illegal activities throughout the Cinco Ranch area. One day, Jimmy "Three Fingers" Kutter, an enforcer for a rival Mafioso gang in Old Katy, broke into Benny's office and shouted: "Da books, gimme da books!" "Fagettaboutit," replied Decepsiona, whereby Kutter pressed a large knife against Benny's throat until a thin line of blood trickled down his neck. "O.K., O.K., I'll give you da books; just don't kill me," pleaded Benny. He went to his safe and retieved the accounts he maintained for his boss, "Fat Tony" Baloni. After glancing at the ledger sheets, "Three Fingers" became outraged: "Hey, dese are just letters! Letters and more letters! Unintelligible!" Yes, thought Decepsiona, for his code was pretty much impossible to crack. It wouldn't fool the FBI, not in the end, but simple as it was it could fool most people.
"Three Fingers" pointed one of his remaining fingers at a line of letters in the ledger under the heading "Secret Cache of Mob Cash." It read:

Pressing the knife further into Benny's throat, Kutter threatened: "Give me da key to dis code or you're history." Fearing for his life, the bookkeeper struggled, but then picked up an object from his desk and offered it to his tormentor. "Here is da key. You probably had it all along. Please leave me in peace now."
