Here's another challenge for those who live for life's challenges. To log as a find, you need to complete the requirements listed below.
We love to celebrate milestones and goals met of various numbers. ONE HUNDRED always seems to be a significant number, that gives us a sense of accomplishment.
Find 100 caches with names of food or drink in them. Only 15 of the 100 can be embedded in a larger word (ie. CORN "Around the CORNer"). The other 85 must have the name as a stand-alone word in the name of the cache.
So take some time to sort through your list for names of fruits, vegetables, meat, spices, beverages and other goodies. We will be slightly lenient with 'game' meats, elk, horse, rabbit, rattlesnake, etc., but don't push the envelope too far. No 'meal' names, only food. No breakfast, lunch or dinner, etc.
Here are 100 from a fictional found list: Apple ale, bacon, barbecue, basil, beef, beer, berry, bread, breadcrumbs, broth, buffalo, butter, buttermilk, cashew, candy, carp, carrots, cheese, cherry, chicken, chili pepper, cod, coffee, cone, cookies, corn, crab, cream, date, deer, dill, donuts, duck, eggs, eel, espresso, fig, fish, Frosty, fruit, grape, goat, goose, granola, ham, honey, horse, ice, ice cream, jam, lard, lime, mango, maple, milk, moose, nuts, oil, orange, Oreo, oyster, pea, peach, peanut, pear, pepper, Pepsi, perch, pie, pig, pigeon, pineapple, plum, pork, pop, quail, rabbit, rattlesnake, relish, rice, roll, sage, salmon, salt, seafood, shake, sheep, soda, soup, spaghetti, spuds, stew, strawberry, tangerine, tea, trout, Twinkie, vanilla, water (H2O), wings.
Duplicate items on your list are OK - no need to have 100 unique ones. All caches placed at any date will count so go through your list of previously found caches so you know how many more you need, to qualify for this cache. No need to email your foods, just list them in your online log.
Please list the names of the qualifying caches, cache number and date found in your log.
