Number 7 of 7. A 2.1 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail from the Gumboot Pass Trailhead parking lot.
Put your hiking shoes on and grab your walking stick. This is a beautiful walk along the Pacific Crest Trail originating from the Gumboot Pass parking. This is number 7 of 7 caches placed along this section of the PCT. Views of Upper and Lower Gumboot Lakes and Mombo Lake are found along the section. Walk a little further to the saddle and you get view of the Seven Lakes area and the Crags in the distance.
The cache is located above the trail, but no climbing is necessary. Just reach in and grab it.
