This cache is part of the GOLD COAST POWER TRAIL.
A joint initiative by a group of local Gold Coast cachers.
Each cache is themed on a critter indigenous to the Gold Coast.
Most of the containers are small golden cache tubes with a logbook only and should be easy to find.
However, each participating cacher has one hide which may be more difficult!
This cache is named after a native Gold Coast Reptile called the "Eastern Water Skink".
From Wikapedia Page.....
The Eastern Water Skink is usually found close to or on the shore of slow flowing creeks and estuaries, hence its name. It is a relatively large skink growing to nearly 30cm. They are fast and active with green and gold colouring on their back. Their diet consists of worms, insects and, occasionally, fruits and berries. The female water skinks carry their young until they are born during summer, up to 9 babies can be born in one litter.
