A cliplock box in a camo bag
Before the southern link road was built this bridle way leading to the Norton barracks had been preserved through the new St Peters estate . A ramp was built down the side of the cutting and up the other side but were too steep and slippery . The path has now been revived with a much better surface and gradient much to the council's credit. Note the southern link road A4440 is a clearway to park go into the estate from St Peters drive. Since I first placed this cache the A4440 is being dualled . The construction of a new bridge under the railway is complete with no sign of a promised bridge to properly revive the bridle path to Norton . In fact the crossing on foot looks pretty impossible and the ramp on the far side has been obliterated.. The cutting down from here to the road has ben considerably tidied wiping out my original container. Now the bridge is complete and due to open next weekend (15.12.2019) this container is relocated on the railway boundary where the A4440 boundary fence joins it. Coordinates are a bit out but will refine them when I can visit with better equipment.
