Halkidiki Hills
Maybe not the highest hill in Halkidiki, but one worth walking up
to. If you start near the town of Pefkochori you will pass through
olive farms on your way up. The last 75 meters are very steep and
nothing more than a trail.
If you approach the cache from the south-west side, you can walk on
paved roads until the last 20 meters.
At GZ you will be rewarded with a great view over Pefkochori,
Chaniotis and the Mediterranean.
Small note on cache maintenance: There is a local
cache guardian. Name and contact info on file with
geocaching.com.
