EN: Zrnovo is a small village on the Korcula island, with around 1500 inhabitants, which are scattered in three sub-villages. For some unknown reason (to me), they have decided to put a traffic light on one (of few) crossings in their village, making it the ONLY traffic light on Korcula island. This by itself is not *SO* strange, but why they decided to dig an underground tunnel for pedestrians (there IS a traffic light, and green is lit every 20 seconds or so), build a wall, big shields made of plastic against the noise. In peak time (middle of summer), there are three vehicles waiting on red light, and during winter time, less than a hundred cars pass here during the day. Needless to say, I guess nobody *ever* took the underground passage, which has all the lights broken, is ruined with graffitti and full of rubbish. What a stupid way to spend money!
