Geocache Description:

** This Cache ** This cache is one of the five "Interprecaches" located at Government Canyon State Natural Area (GCSNA). It is near the Zizelmann House. GCSNA is open only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 7am - 10pm; it is CLOSED to the public on Tuesdays-Wednesdays-Thursdays. Entrance fees are $6 per day per person 13 years and older unless you have a state park pass. Follow the Joe Johnston Route for about 3 miles (about 6 miles round-trip) to the cache location. The cache is not located inside the fenced area surrounding the house. The fence is there to protect the house and features close to it from further vandalism and for visitor safety. ** This Series ** This cache is just one in the "It's All About Water" series. Each cache is different, and each has a unique "Interprecache Card" that describes the specific cache site and the significance of water to that site and to your daily life. Some caches also have a collectible item (while supplies last) that goes along with the card. Collect all eight cards to complete the series. Look closely! While one of the cards and collectibles may appear to be similar to others within the series, they are not. See if you can spot the differences. Watch where you step and look where you are reaching. Be prepared, be aware of your surroundings, and always bring plenty of water.
"When the well is dry, we know the worth of water." -- Benjamin Franklin
