Geocache Description:

If you look around while your caching, you may run into one of these located on the property line of any city and county's boundary. This one splits the line between Fairfield and Solano County.

In 1856 Captain Robert H. Waterman lays out the townsite of Fairfield, which he names after his hometown in Connecticut. A clipper ship captain who had sailed around the world five times, Waterman decides to settle in Suisun Valley with his wife, Cordelia (for whom the Cordelia area of Fairfield is named) For more information on the history of Fairfield click on this link (visit link)

Please replace as found and bring a pen.

This cache was placed for the September F.R.O.G.S. event. Visit our web site on the link above or attend one of our monthly events help in Napa and Solano Counties.
