Geocache Description:

Small cache. Logbook, pen. Adventue cache. Accessable by boat or foot ( wet foot ). Space for small items.

Adventure cache! A few years back there were 5 mermaids trapped in a large barge that traveled through many sea's. The barge traveled into the Great Lakes through a canal and took cover in Grand Traverse Bay during a November storm. It is this location where the Mermaids escaped to Power Island. They have lived here many years, hiding from all who visit the island. From time to time, they visit a tiny unpopulated island. They play with the swans and fish there. This is where you will find the hidden cache. And the Mermaids are there with a story and hope to have a friendly geocacher help them travel back to their homes in salt water sea's.
