Now there is a story to be told about this one which I heard from
my Dad who heard it from a guy who knows a guy who supposedly knew
the deal.
At one time this was a turkey or chicken barn, lots and lots of
feathered fowl one could say or fowl smelling creatures would be
more like it.
According to legend pre bobcat days they used a small bulldozer to
clean this barn when the fowl droppings piled up. Now back in the
old days safety and guards were unheard of so the bulldozer had no
ROPS or cage to protect the driver. The door on the North was just
high enough to get the dozer in and out "if" the driver ducked. Now
it is told the driver did not duck just one time and was
decapitated and soon died from this malady. I can't verify the
facts I am just repeating the rumor. In any case the birds are now
long gone and the barn has issued it's last breath.
