Hanging a cache seems heartless but necessary sometimes and most fun for hiders. I like to pull them up and see what is on the end. Kids may see a mystery out of this, but after a few you are most likely looking for unwanted riders. They require little planning and are fun for all to find but do most times need a little waterproofing. Plus, you can change a hanging cache into a lot of things if you're careful.
