Geocache Description:

Knight Rider Night Cache #8

BYOP... DnG...

1 Stop Multi...

PLEASE READ NOTE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE DESCRIPTION!!!

This WAS a Night cache.

This is the second of several DRIVING Night caches. What do I mean by a "Driving" night cache?

All your waypoints can be found without ever leaving your vehicle. Each waypoint that you spot from your vehicle will tell you which way to go to reach your final destination. At no point should you ever have to leave your vehicle to find your way to GZ.

The ONLY time you should have to exit your vehicle is to find the final location & container that holds your prize. (The Log)

INSTRUCTIONS & Info:

1. Look for round reflective "Dots". The dots will be 3/4" round dots.

2. Only 5 colours of reflective "dots" are used.
Red, Blue, White, Yellow & Orange.

3. The "dots" are easily visiable from your vehicle at night.

4. Yellow dots are your Starting point.

5. Blue dots tell you when to turn right or turn left. With only ONE exception. All Blue dots will be found on a stop sign.

6. GZ is within about 50' of 3 (Three) red dots that are on the BACK of a stop sign. Across the street from this stop sign, will be another traffic sign with a blue dot & a red dot. If you see little blue dots anywhere, You are COLD. Little orange dots you are warm. A little red dot... Your very hot!

7. If you see 3 (three) orange dots on something "yellow" that the Fire Department would use, then you have gone to far. If you see 3 (Three) Orange dots in a vertical line on the right side of a "No Parking Sign" then you have REALLY gone to far!

8.The coordinates given above are your starting point.

9. For THIS night cache, there are not any "dummy" containers, nor are there any "dummy" routes or "mis-directors".

10. On your FIRST blue dot. Turn Right. After that, alternate between turning Left then right. First Blue dot you turn right, 2nd blue dot your turn left, 3rd blue dot right... etc....

11. After you make a turn (Right or left) LOOK for white dots. They maybe on the left, they maybe on the right. They could be on Light posts, or traffic sign posts, or ultility boxes, or even mail boxes. White dots will let you know you are on the CORRECT course. The "course" will take you in circles and you will simply be on the track going over & over the same course...

12. AT some point you will need to EXIT the course. You will exit the course at a STOP sign by turning in the OPPOSITE direction then what you would otherwise be "programmed" to turn. The hint on which stop sign to turn opposite of what you should turn? Hint: Don't repeat the course/track.

13. Should you need more help... read the hint. Terrain rating is based on the fact of distance & the final aproach to the final location, but the entire trek is on paved roads. Difficulty rating is based ont he distance, finding the dots, keeping track of which way to turn, finding where to exit the course/track, finding GZ and finding the container.

Enjoy the hunt!

Due to some issues with the neighbors at or near GZ. This cache has been changed to a daytime only cache at the request of the residents.

Nothing has changed about the cache, everything is capabile of being seen during daytime hours, although the white dots might be a little more difficult to see.

So please NO hunting of this cache AFTER 9pm at night.

P.S. If you believe this cache or any of my caches need my attention for whatever reason. Please log a "Need Maintenance" log in addition to either your "Found" or "DNF" log. I will Not be offended. This is because I have over 250+ cache hides & by logging an "NM" log this will be of great help to me in maintaining all of my cache hides, & which caches of mine that need my attention. Thank You in advance for your help in this matter.
