Clevedon Coastal Close-up Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Calluna Tib: As there has been no response from the cache owner to my previous request for intervention, I am now archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above location. This cache involves a very pleasant stroll from the start of Poets walk up to Clevedon pier looking out for many different sights. This cache was inspired by Weston Promenade Stroll created by Lightfeet & Metoo, thanks to them for letting me use their idea to create this cache.

You will need to print the A4 sheet containing the 13 photos taken between the Start of Poets Walk (N51 25.890 W2 52.525) and Clevedon Pier. (N51 26.575 W2 51.689) To find the cache you must put the pictures in the correct order from the starting point at the beginning of Poets walk to the end point at Clevedon Pier. As you spot the clues put them in order, “a” being the first nearest the start of Poets walk, ending with “m” at Clevedon Pier. All clues are clearly visible from the path but make sure you look up and down, left and right, in front and behind you. Once you’ve collected all the clues put the numbers in the following order Nab cd.efg W00h ij.klm then go off to find the cache, which is in a small container. The whole walk is about 2 kilometers and could be done in about half an hour, but I recommend giving yourself plenty of time to take in the sights, stop off in one of the pubs or tea rooms and just to enjoy the walk. There is some parking on Old Church Road, leading to the start of poets walk, or there is a public car park and more on street parking at N51 26.056 W2 52.120 There is a steep slope at the start of the walk and there are a few slight steps. I have completed this walk many times with a pushchair without problems but parts of it would be very difficult for wheelchair users. Happy caching!
