This area now known as Trent Meadows was in fact the local council tip until at least the late 1960’s.
In those far off days, most landfill would have been ashes from your fire grate.
Paper we used to throw on the fire, cardboard, possible, plastics…what is that? It was not really around, not invented!! Well it was but not as we know it today.
