Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the Rosalinda Sauro Sirianni Garden, a project of the North Hills Community Outreach. The adjacent property was purchased by NHCO to expand the garden. The cache is a tupperware container located outside the fence. You do not have to dig. And it is ok to walk on the rocks.

A plot of land at 119 Davis Avenue in Bellevue was donated to North Hills Community Outreach. The donor, Terrie Amelio, requested that the property be used for an organic community garden and that the produce be given to families in need through NHCO's two food pantries. Many years ago, this land was gardened by Terrie Amelio's family who lived across the street from the garden and provided them with fresh organic produce. 2011 marked the first growing season in many years. The garden is named after her mother.

The FTF will receive a packet of notecards designed by Terrie Amelio. Garden related trade items are encouraged. Snacking on veggies grown in the raised beds outside the fence is welcomed.
