A small flat lock and lock off the trail of a historic train track.
This cache is off the trail that used to be a small train track used to haul coal up to the main line that was used to haul it down to the James River using mule power. This trail accessed the very first railway in the country. Hopefully you parked at the Midlothian Mine Park parking lot, so after you find the cache, keep heading down the path and you will very shortly find the remains of a small, collapsed stone bridge that lead this rail line down to the Grove shafts further south. Don't forget to find all the other great caches in the park and across the street around Woolridge pond.
Congrats to Silvertop1 for FTF! Enjoy the gift certificate! Be sure to let them know how you got it.
