Housing five state-of-the-art performance venues, the Forbes Center for the Performing Arts at James Madison University opened in 2010 and is the destination for world-class theater, dance and music entertainment. Take in a show ranging from talented JMU students and faculty to internationally recognized professional artists. Don’t expect easy parking. There is plenty of parking nearby, but in university lots you must have a permit to avoid getting a ticket. And they WILL ticket. If you are coming from the east side of Rt. 11, be sure to experience the tunnel that runs from the Quad under Rt. 11 directly to the cache site.
