Anyone for a swim?
Sandy point is a very popular place with locals on a
warm summers night. Plenty of families can be seen enjoying this area when the lake is full. A nice sandy beach makes an inviting spot for a swim or paddle.
Shelters nearby provide a place to sit and have a picnic under a bit of cover if the weather turns. This is a short offset cache that will take you on a pleasant walk around the edge of the lake. The listed co-ords will have you at a survey marker and post which you can log as a find on GCA. On the post you will find a metal plate with a few numbers on it.
