Reasonably steep walk on an good trail. The elevation is about 890m. There is a nice alternate view of Cooma from the loaction. Around the area of the cach there is some good trails.
The cache is a small clear plastic tupperware sandwich box which is well sealed. It has a bright yellow reflective sticker on top. Inside there are two pencils, a sharpener for the pencils, a log book and a transformer toy. Enjoy the view and have an adventure on the many trails. In summer this area has a lot of snakes. Most are relatively passive and will not attack unless threatened but beware the brown snakes as they are very very agressive and defend their territory. I've seen a brown snake strike at vehicle tyres because it was in its territory. In the winter months the only snake you should encounter is copper heads. I've found they only attack when threatened. Regardless if you see a snake on the trail respect them and give them a wide berth. There are also a lot of medium sized kangaroos in this area who can come crashing through the bush. In summer there is a lot of bird life. Look for the Gang Gangs, Galahs and Black Cockatoos. There area is well worth a days walk.
