Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This Cache is hidden at the burial site of Capt John Montague. Capt Montague was wounded in action protecting Gen George Washington during the Revolutionary war.
In 2010, Boy Scout Jacob M. Thornton cleaned the site and added a new fence and tombstone as his Eagle project.
The Cache is not hidden inside the fence. Please respect the site because it is a cemetery. The Cache is not in the cemetery.
The driveway you see belongs to the neighboring house so please do not use it. Instead, park on the side of the road but not in anyone's yard.
This cache was hidden by another Scout in Jacob’s troop, as a requirement of the Geocaching merit badge.
