Matriculation Letterbox Hybrid
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Allergy alert: container is recycled peanutbutter jar.
This is a letterbox hybrid. No swag. Please do not take the stamp or logbook from the letterbox--doing so destroys the letterbox. Please bring a pen or pencil. To participate in the letterbox experience, you'll need to bring an inkpad and an index card. Take nothing from the letterbox except, if you like, an ink image on the index card. Please leave no trinkets.
This is a historical location in the rural valley carved by the La Plata(silver) river (rio) as it drains the melting snows from the La Plata Mountains of southern Colorado.
Please move away from the hidey hole to sign in.
If you're after numbers, just sign in and date.
But to savor the letterbox vibe, images must be exchanged. Letterboxers and some geocachers carry signature stamps and will stamp in with those images. If you don't have one, you may draw a simple image or ink your finger, and stamp in with that. Some people then use their pen to make the fingerprint a little picture. When you sign in, it's nice to know where you're from.
Inside the rails next to the swale's east edge.

Please do not take the stamp.
