Nice gravel bar with TONS of flat rocks. Perfect for skipping them across the water!
I remember canoeing the Turkey with my dad when I was just a JR BB, and he always liked to stop on these gravel bars. 5 minutes after beaching the canoe, he would find an arrowhead. He probably has over 100 in his collection. He is like an arrowhead magnet!
I like stopping on these gravel bars, in hopes that I can find my first arrowhead.
When I find my first arrowhead..it will be like Christmas!
