This container is a survivor of the floods of 2008. Re-painted, re-located and just plain EVIL!
This cache was originally crafted and placed by my mom, Speevah, on Goose Island. Goose Island is just south of Cedar Rapids, on the Cedar River, and was basically a stones throw from her backyard.
After the flood of 2008, the island, and all the trees on the island were flattened. This container barely survived, hanging on by a cable tie.
Thanks to fellow cachers, this awesome cache was retrieved and is now back in action after 3 years of sitting idle in my garage.
This cache really means alot to me, brings back memories of where Speevah's house used to be (bulldozed due to flood damage), stealing her canoe to be FTF, and just the super smile when the cache was in hand!
Trying to get this cache all by yourself will be almost impossible. Its not dangerous, but teamwork is a must!
