A flat-netic cache near Sather Gate on Sproul Plaza, U.C. Berkeley's central hub of student life (though most students learn to stay far, far away from Sproul after freshman year). Because of the ridiculous amount of muggle traffic on weekdays, you will need to use stealth in retrieving the cache. It's relatively easy to go unnoticed, however, given the vast array of odd activities and characters on Sproul.
January 2013 - For some reason, this cache has had a tendency to migrate far away from its original hiding spot over time, often leading to unnecessary DNFs. Please replace the cache in the place indicated in the spoiler photo/hint, no matter where you found it! Thanks, and happy hunting!
March 2013 - Updated the cache container type (previously a nano, now flat-netic) and moved it about 18 inches up, so it is now visible from certain angles. The spoiler photo will point you to the old hiding place, which is 18 inches below the new spot.
