in our disclaimer.

Mack's Northern Summit is a difficult hike, but boasts some of the best views in the area! There is more than 1 way to reach this peak, but none of them are easy. Be prepared for loose rock, TONS of exposure & some sections of Class IV climbing.
***Please be advised, there is a section of Class IV climbing required to reach this cache. If you fall, you could be seriously injured or worse. Sturdy shoes with good tread are a MUST! The rock is very sharp.***
The cache is a small tin hidden under some rocks above a small dead tree. The plastic peak register is not the cache!
-- Please be aware of the symptoms of altitude sickness & what to do if it happens to you.
-- DO NOT attempt this hike if there are dark clouds in the sky, or if high winds are expected. Thunderstorms can strike very quickly during the summer monsoon season in the Charleston area, even if it's clear in the Vegas Valley.
-- Please be very careful when ascending, as there is quite a bit of loose rock. If you are hiking with someone else, be careful not to dislodge any rocks onto them! Loose rocks can gather a lot of speed very quickly!

Congrats to Ridgeard & PhantomWSO for FTF!!!
