This cache is dedicated to the novel by Daniel Defoe, Robinson Crusoe. The sole survivor of a shipwreck Robinson Crusoe is washed up on a desert island. His journal tells of his daily battle to stay alive and how he makes shelter and clothes and fights isolation. Later he fights off cannibals and mutineers.
This is regarded as the first English novel and is one of the most enduring and popular myths is English literature.
This is one of the Novel Cache series in which we have tried to create a variety of interesting containers with some link to the title (some need a degree of lateral thinking!)The cache containers are of varying sizes some of which are large enough for small swaps and TB's.
There is room for parking for one or two cars near Novel Cache: Uncle Sam (GC340X0) but please don't block the entrance to the field.
We hope you enjoy finding them as much as we enjoyed setting them.
