In 1983 PBS introduced a TV show called Reading Rainbow, with the aim of making reading exciting for younger children. The show featured host, LeVar Burton, and frequently had celebrity guests, reading books to children. The show saw great success over the 23 year run it aired, and received great critical acclaim. The final segment of each show, called Book Reviews, began with Burton's introductory phrase, "But you don't have to take my word for it," and features children giving capsule reviews of books they recommend. Burton ended every show with, "I'll see you next time."
For a few years now, I've not had cable or watched TV, and this has re-cultivated my love for reading. When thinking of what TV show I wanted to use, I decided to use a TV show about reading.
The listed coordinates will take you to where your imagination's journey will begin. Please be aware this cache can only be done between the hours of 10:00am-6:00pm Monday-Saturday, and 12:00pm-6:00pm Sunday, in accordance with the permission given for its placement. Here you will find thousands of journeys for your mind to take, but there is only 1 you need to log this cache. Finding it is just a very small step in your journey, however. Once found, your name MUST be on the log to claim a find. If any finds are logged, and their names are not on the log, they will be deleted.
