Save Ferris - The Northbrook water tower
The iconic John Hughes movie "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" was filmed in part in Northbrook. John Hughes attended nearby Glenbrook North High School. In one scene, the sister of Ferris Bueller (played by Jennifer Grey) is driving and sees the Northbrook water tower painted with the words "Save Ferris".
