Geocache Description:

Quick rural P & G on the gravel roads of Story County. BYOP. Not too many muggles around here so stealth won't be a problem. This cache probably won't be too winter-friendly. Place back as you found it when done.

A mountain in Story County?? Well, we also have a lighthouse, so why not! I'm not certain whether this is the high point of Schnauzerland or not, but it's definitely the highest point that you can see for miles across the prairie.

Though you can't access "Mount Schnauzy" you can get as close as where the cache is located. Who would have guessed that this place existed?

Mount Schnauzy was named on September 10, 2011 after it's first-known conqueror, Fritz the Flying Schnauzer. The Schnauzer king decided to disobey his master (so what's new...). He sprinted to the top as fast as he could, planted his little schnauzer paws, tilted his head back and claimed his territory with a mighty howl, which was heard throughout his prairie kingdom.

Thanks for caching in Story County!
