A nice turnout off RTE 27 in the Town of New Vineyard
There was previously a cache at this spot which I archived due to it being muggled a number of times. I was in the area today and thought that I would give it another try as this is a good spot to stop and take a break as you are headed north. Enjoy the view and spot. Container and location have been updated.
The cache is a ammo can with several trade items, log book and pen/pencil. Stump Pond has a small turnout area for parking. It is located just off RTE 27 after you pass through downtown New Vineyard. There is a large sign visible on RTE 27 marking the turnout for Stump Pond. It is a pretty spot to stretch your legs while traveling north. If you are lucky you will see a moose out on the pond in the evening.
