This is a 9/11 10th Anniversary tribute cache.
This cache was placed in Eberwein Park as the sun set on September 11, 2011: 10 years after the tragedy in Pennsylvania, New York and Washington DC. You are encouraged to share your recollections of that September day in your log. Let this be a space of peace amongst the hustle of downtown Chesterfield.
Cache is close to, but not accessible from Baxter Road. Please park at the suggested lot and take the time to walk and reflect. There are no trade items in the cache, nor should there be. It's not a trading cache.
The nearby dog park is for registered Chesterfield users only, though dogs on leashes are permitted in the part of the park around the cache.
Picnic tables, restrooms, fuel and shopping are all within easy walking distance from the parking lot. But note that the park is only open during daytime hours.
