The city of Burnsville regularly maintains this drainage pond and the cache is found near a large pile of wood chips from work a couple of years ago. 7/27/19–not much in the way of wood chips remain. Very little bushwhacking. No mosquitoes. Found a lot of trash today. If you feel inclined, take some out with you when you leave.
Where to park is not most obvious. You may find it easiest to park and locate this cache after regular business hours. Please do not attempt to cross the street except at the crosswalk or park on the same side of the busy street as the cache. I checked on the cache today (7/27/19) Best parking is about .4 mile away in the corner of the church parking lot. The adjacent medical facility is under construction.
