The Nooky Trail Series is a figure-of-eight circular series of caches, plus a bonus cache, starting from Waverton Village, heading to Golden Nook ("Nooky"), and returning via the canal. This is one of my favourite areas, and hope you enjoy exploring it too. The series takes you along rural footpaths, and the canal towpath, plus a short stretch along a country lane. The caches are a variety of sizes and types, and some will certainly be harder to find than others! I have listed special considerations on individual listings.

#7 - After the lane, this cache takes you back onto a public footpath through a series of fields, the location of this cache. Please be careful of livestock in this area. After finding the cache you will need to pass through the grounds of Abbeydale House - but don't worry, this is the official route of the public footpath, and clearly signposted.

NOTE: We have recently been made aware that this property is a supporter of the local hunt (one proven to hunt foxes and foxcubs illegally) and hosts meets on these grounds, If you do witness illegal hunting please dial 101 and make Cheshire Police aware. Having been privvy to this information, we aren't especially concerned about people trampling through their grounds now :-)
