The Nooky Trail Series is a figure-of-eight circular
series of caches, plus a bonus cache, starting from Waverton
Village, heading to Golden Nook ("Nooky"), and returning via the
canal. This is one of my favourite areas, and hope you enjoy
exploring it too. The series takes you along rural footpaths, and
the canal towpath, plus a short stretch along a country lane. The
caches are a variety of sizes and types, and some will certainly be
harder to find than others! I have listed special considerations on
individual listings.

#10 - Of all the caches in this series, this is the one real
'detour' from the route, although only by a few minutes, and
hopefully worthwhile for a fantastic view of the passing trains,
and surrounding countryside - Beeston and Peckforton Castles, and
Burwardsley all visible in the distance. Make sure you hang around
until a train passes to get the full benefit of the location!
(Trains are very regular, even on Sundays).
Good luck!!
