Located in Rabe Meadows off an easy walking path near the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe. Parking available off of HWY 50 and Kahle Drive. Cache elevation is 6,279'. Enjoy the walk and learn about the Tahoe Basin along the way. Path can also be accessed from Nevada Beach Campground or Elk Point Road.
The cache is a green ammo box and it contains a variety of collectables. It is an easy hike on the trail, our 4 year old twin grandchildren made it with no difficulty. Standing on the trail looking eastwards it is right of center of the major rock piles. It is located in several rocks and if you are perceptive the rocks may look like a turtle shell or a whale's head when viewing from the trail. Watch out for muggles as this is a popular walking path.
