Geocache Description:

Penguin Head, a perfect place to watch whales which migrate north in June and return south in October with their young.
BRING YOUR OWN PEN.

Originally named Wheeler's Point after the first European land owner, George Wheeler, then changed to Culburra (the local aboriginal name for sand) in 1916 by the developer, Warren Halloran. Later changed to Culburra Beach to save confusion with Culburra in South Australia. The area stretches from Crookhaven Heads in the north to Lake Wollumboola in the south, on the coast of Shoalhaven Bight. The street plan was designed by Walter Burley Griffin.
Panoramic 340 degree views from GZ.
