Introduction
This cache is located in the Blue hole park in central Belize. The park is just 12 miles southeast of Belmopan and can easily be reached by bus. Costs are 8$ BZD per person (open 8am - 4.30pm). The park contains a sinkhole in which you can take a swim and a cave in which you can hike for up to a half mile deep (bring you own flashlight!). There is a small trail network (bring musquito spray!) particularly good for birding because the forest canopy is low. The rich forest contains a wealth of bromeliads, mosses and ferns. more visible than normal because of the steep lay of the land.
Cache
The cache is located near St. Hermans cave. Stealth mode is required for finding this cache, although there are less than 4500 visitors each year. You will find a small plastic box. Trackables can be hided in this cache. Please respect the park rules and hide the cache in the same spot and cover it fully. Thanks a lot and enjoy this cache!
Small note on cache maintenance: placing the cache is approved with one of the assistants in the park. Once in a while he will check the status of this cache.
