Dobrý den, řekl obchodník.
Byl to obchodník s patentními pilulkami utěšující žízeň. Když člověk polkne jednu týdne, nemusí už pít.
Proč to prodáváš? zeptal se malý princ.
Je to velká úspora času, odpověděl obchodník. Znalci to vypočítali. Ušetří se padesát tři minuty za týden.
A co se udělá s těmito padesáti třemi minutami?
Co kdo chce ...
Kdybych já měl padesát tři minuty nazbyt, řekl si malý princ, šel bych docela pomaloučku ke studánce...

Let’s leave the power trail for a moment and walk through history.

[CZ] Kešku je až na poslední úsek k finálce nejlepší lovit na kole. Pokud přijedete od Tachovské Huti - v tom případě si všimněte místa, kde stávala kaplička (viz waypoint).

Stage 1: Altánek a infotabule (N 49° 56.051 E 012° 32.026)
Pohlédněte do údolí před sebou. V těchto místech stávala obec Slatina, německy Lohhauser. Po druhé světové válce byla celá obec srovnána se zemí a obyvatelé odsunuti do Německa.
V současné době je o místa, která dříve byla vesnicí, celkem dobře pečováno, bylo zde obnoveno několik památníků a o vesnici se zmiňuje naučná stezka.
Zalijte muškáty (pokud tam jsou), zapište se do návštěvní knihy v altánku a podívejte se na infotabule.

Na žluté info tabuli se dozvíte, že Lohhäuser měl při sčítání v roce 1939 A3A obyvatel. Také se zde dozvíte, že ve vesnici se vyráběly knoflíky, které se exportovaly až do Ameriky.
Dále zjistěte po jakém roce došlo k odsunu obyvatel 194B a z obrázků vyhledejte celkový podled na obec Slatina - Lohhäuser (19C0).
Stage 2: Janovského pramen (N 49° 56.022 E 012° 32.050)
Dojděte k prameni zjistěte, jak je to po cyklostezce daleko ke Kajetánu. Je to D km.
Při nabírání vody zjistíte, že Janovský, čestný občan obce, byl povoláním
fořt (E = 4)
mlynář (E = 5)
kovář (E = 6)

Stage 3: Válečný pomník (N 49° 55.891 E 012° 31.979)
Cesta z kopce vás dovede na rozcestí, kde byl obnoven křížek, a také pomník připomínající obyvatele vesnice padlé v první a druhé světové válce. Jaké bylo č.p. domu, ve kterém žili Böhmovi? To bude FG.

Stage 4: Dům (N 49° 55.927 E 012° 31.931)
Kousek od pomníku stojí velký kaštan. Na jeho místě stál dům č.p. H a kaple sv. Anny.
Teď tam stojí novodobý, stylizovaný kříž. Zezadu má kovovou výztuhu (L profil), která je trochu neumně přišroubována několika šrouby. Vydělte počet šroubů číslem 2 a také získáte indicii H.

Stage 5: Kříž (N 49° 55.860 E 012° 31.608)
Kolem rybníka na Hamerském potoce dojdete až ke kříži (po cestě si můžete odskočit ještě pro kešku u dolu Dyleň).
Na kovové destičce na kříži je letopočet 2XIX.
Na kamenném podstavci kříže je letopočet 1XJX.

Finálku najdete na souřadnicích
N 49°5C.(D+F)H(A+B)'
E 012°3F.EI(G-J)'
na místě, které se týká zase trochu jiné historie.

Kontrolní součet čísel A až J je 38.

Po levé ruce budete mít louku, na které u Hamerského potoka stával mlýn. Pokud jedete na kole, nedoporučuji jít s ním až ke kešce - posledních pár desítek metrů byste se dost nadřeli. Odložte ho třeba u sloupu.

[EN] I recommend searching for this cache by bike – except for the last few metres near the cache, it’s the easiest way to transport yourself around. You can either make a detour from the powertrail nearby or come from Tachovska Hut. In that case, notice the place where there used to be a chapel (see waypoint).

Stage 1: Information board (N 49° 56.051 E 012° 32.026)
Look at the valley in front of you. There used to be a village called Slatina, Lohhauser in German. After WWII, it was destroyed completely and its inhabitants deported to Germany.
These days, the sites of the former village are looked after quite well, several memorials have been renewed here and the educational trail going through this area also reminds us about the former glory of the village.
Water the plants (if they are there), sign the guestbook in the shelter and look at the information boards.

The yellow information board tells you that Lohhäuser had A3A residents according to the 1939 census. It also explains that buttons were manufactured in the village and exported as far as America.
Next, find out in which year the residents were displaced (194B), and use the images to locate the general view of the village of Slatina - Lohhäuser (19C0).

Stage 2: Janovsky’s spring (N 49° 56.022 E 012° 32.050)
Near the spring, you will find it’s D km to Kajetán.
While tasting the spring, you’ll see that Janovský, an honoured inhabitant of the village, was by profession

kovář – blacksmith (E = 6)

Stage 3: War memorial (N 49° 55.891 E 012° 31.979)
Following the path down the hill, you’ll get to a place with a renewed cross, and also a memorial commemorating villagers killed in both wars. What was the number of the house, in which family Böhm used to live? That’ll be FG.

Stage 4: House (N 49° 55.927 E 012° 31.931)
Not far from the memorial is a big horse chestnut tree. A house number H and a chapel of St. Anna used to stand here.
Now there stands a modern, stylized cross. On the back, it has a metal brace (L-shaped profile) that is somewhat clumsily bolted on with a few screws. Divide the number of screws by 2, and you’ll also get a clue: H.

Stage 5: Cross (N 49° 55.860 E 012° 31.608)
Passing a pond, you’ll get to a cross. (You can make a detour to find the cache in the Uranium mine Dylen in between.)
A metal piece at the cross holds the year 2XIX.
The stone under the cross has the year 1XJX written on it.

The cache can be found at

- at a place which is connected to yet another part of history.

Adding up all the numbers from A to J should give 38.

After that, the meadow on your left is where a mill used to be.
If you’ve come by bike, don’t take it all the way to the cache – rather leave it near a post. Otherwise the last few metres to the cache would be too difficult.
